WINDHOEK, 16 JAN (NAMPA) – The University of Namibia (UNAM) has postponed its online registration for senior students.
In a media statement issued Monday by UNAM, Public Relations Officer, Simon Namesho said the registration initially scheduled to start on 15 January has been re-scheduled to 23 January 2018.
Namesho noted that the postponement is due to challenges experienced by the UNAM online registration system.
The registration period for the first-year students from 22 to 26 January remain unchanged.
“Prospective students who have applied last year and have not received any response yet should expect feedback by the end of this week,” Namesho said.
Aspiring students who still wish to apply to UNAM are advised to apply online as from 16 to 19 January 2018.
“The university understands the likely inconveniences the postponement might have caused and extends its apology to all affected stakeholders, as the matter is receiving our utmost attention,” said Namesho.
He further alluded that students funded by the Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF) could register for the 2018 academic year with no upfront payment.
