Brave Warriors have won the first round of their starting game in Group B at the current ongoing African Nations Championship (CHAN) hosted by Morocco yesterday.

A last gasp free-kick swung by Brave right back Riaan Hanamub met the head of defender Charles Hambira resulting in a last second goal that places Namibia, in group B, ahead of the match between Uganda and Zambia.

The match between the two teams ended 1-0 when the referee blew the final whistle in favour of Brave Warriors.

Namibia made their debut in the CHAN competition in a game that required clear cut chances although Petrus Shitembi tried his luck from the edge of the box in the first half to put the Brave Warriors ahead.
