CoW N$70m solid waste facility completed

The construction of City of Windhoek’s (CoW) solid waste management facility has been completed to the tune of N$70 million and will be commissioned in March next year, the city confirmed this week.
The purpose of this facility is to manage all the solid waste generated in order to reduce health risks caused by the waste. The facility accommodates a petrol station, autoclave and incinerator Stellio Tsauseb of the Solid Waste Management Division told The Villager.
