The Rehoboth Town Council employees this week went on strike without notification, leaving the town’s residents without services for a day.

The employees who failed to notify top management which was attending Swapo Party Congress claimed that the council did not increase their salaries and that they were also owed returns on taxes, Chairperson of Management Committee at the town council Vinston Uirab told The Villager.
