Two arrested for production crew robbery

WINDHOEK, 21 NOV (NAMPA) – Two suspects were arrested on Monday in connection with the armed robbery of a production crew that was filming a music video here on Friday.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Namibian Police Spokesperson, Chief Inspector Kauna Shikwambi said the two suspects were arrested on Monday afternoon in Okuryangava in Katutura.
All stolen items were recovered and one suspect was found in possession of one of the victims’ wallet, she said.
The suspects are expected to appear in the Windhoek Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday.
The alleged robbery happened at around 17h00 in the mountains behind Eros where five people from Endemic Productions were busy filming a music video.
Six robbers allegedly attacked the crew, making off with valuable items worth over N.dollars 400 000.
Four of the suspects are still at large and police investigations continue.
