No arrest made on armed robbery of filmmakers

WINDHOEK, 20 NOV (NAMPA) - No arrests have yet been made in connection with the alleged robbery of equipment and other valuables from five people filming a music video here on Friday.
The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) said in a media statement issued Monday afternoon that anyone with information on the incident is requested to contact the nearest police station.
The alleged armed robbery incident took place at about 17h00 on Friday in the mountains behind the Eros residential area in the capital.
It is alleged that the five victims from Endemic Productions were attacked by six men wearing balaclavas and armed with knives.
One male victim was hit and assaulted with a large stone.
The suspects fled with equipment and other items worth over N.dollars 400 000.
Police investigations continue.
