CRAN is not done with Telecom yet

The dust on the court battle between the Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia (CRAN) and Telecom refuses to settle as the High Court has this time moved it to the 19th of January 2018.

In the first round of the case between the two entities which was heard before Judge Shafimana Ueitele, Telecom won against the regulator.

Telecom disputed having to make levy payments to CRAN from all of its revenue, some of which are services which do not require a regulatory license among other issues.
