Geingob to address House of Lords

WINDHOEK, 06 OCT (NAMPA) – President Hage Geingob will on Tuesday address the House of Lords in London, England as part of the BURJ CEO Business Summit.
Geingob, who is the only African leader invited to deliver remarks at the event, is expected to speak on Brexit, said a media statement by Presidential Spokesperson, Albertus Aochamub on Friday. Brexit is the term used for the prospective withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.
At the same forum, British Prime Minister Theresa May, Sheikha Bodour bin Sultan Al-Qasimi of the Royal family of Emirate of Sharman and Khalid Mahmood, the shadow minister for Europe, will also address the House of Lords.
Geingob is also scheduled to have bilateral meetings with the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Juma Al Maktoum.
The House of Lords is the Upper Chamber of Great Britain’s bicameral legislature.
Geingob is also expected to meet with May.
He leaves for London Sunday and is expected back in the country on Wednesday.
