Kamanjab man arrested with cannabis

OSHAKATI, 19 SEP (NAMPA) – A farmer in the Kavango East Region was robbed of cattle worth N.dollars 620 000 between October 2016 and May 2017.
The owner of Farm Bold Eagle lost 54 heads of cattle over the seven months.
No suspects have been arrested in connection with the matter yet, the daily crime report issued by the Namibian Police Force on Tuesday said.
It is suspected that the livestock was stolen.
Police investigations continue.
Meanwhile, a 31-year-old man was arrested at Kamanjab on Monday after he was found in possession of cannabis worth N.dollars 280 after a police search.
The crime report said the suspect was also found in possession of N.dollars 113.70 when he was arrested at Farm Cauwas in the Kunene Region at around 15h30.
He is expected to appear in the Kamanjab Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
Police investigations continue.
