Lot Haifidi appointed as acting Chief Executive Officer of NAC

WINDHOEK, 06 SEP (NAMPA) – Lot Haifidi has been appointed as the acting Chief Executive Officer of the Namibia Airports Company (NAC).
A media statement issued by the chairperson of the NAC’s Board of Directors, Rodgers Kauta on Wednesday said the decision was taken by a resolution reached during a special board meeting on 01 September.
Haifidi, who is the NAC’s Strategic Executive for Corporate Governance, will act as CEO as from 01 September until further notice.
He replaces Strategic Executive: Human Resources, Josephine Soroses, who acted as CEO after the suspension of former NAC CEO Tamer El-Kallawi on 21 June 2017.
The statement did not say why Soroses is being replaced.
