Langendorf remanded in custody

REHOBOTH, 08 AUG (NAMPA) - The accused in the murder of Colleen |Uiras -|Narimas, who was shot dead at her residence here last month, made his second appearance in the Rehoboth Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday.
Prins Langendorf appeared before Magistrate Desire Kamboua on a charge of murder.
|Uiras-|Narimas died of a bullet wound to the chest and succumbed to her injuries on the spot.
Langendorf is alleged to have shot her when a quarrel between them turned sour during a braai |Uiras -|Narimas had to raise funds for her daughter’s matric farewell dress.
He indicated during his previous court appearance that he will consult a private lawyer, but on Tuesday said he applied for legal aid from the Ministry of Justice.
The matter was remanded to 14 August for the accused to get a lawyer.
The accused will remain in custody.
Prosecutor Mateus Leonard appeared for the State.
