REHOBOTH, 05 AUG (NAMPA) – The Otjozondjupa Second Division 2017/2018 season will kick off during the weekend of 12-13 August and will be played in Otjiwarongo and Grootfontein respectively.
Military School Okahandja Football Club (FC) won the division during the 2016/2017 season.
Chairperson of the Otjozondjupa Football League, Samuel Jantze told Nampa on Thursday the league will kick-off despite the Annual General Meeting (AGM) not being held.
“The teams unanimously decided to postpone the AGM to start with the league. We have been very inactive for a while,” Jantze complained.
According to him, only Flying Eagles from Grootfontein did not affiliate for the new season, citing financial difficulties.
