Namibia beats Uganda in Kampala

WINDHOEK, 23 JUL (NAMPA) – Namibia National Rugby Team, the Welwitschias, beat Uganda 48 to 24 in the Round Five of the 2017 Africa Rugby Gold Cup match played at the Legends Rugby Field in Kampala, Uganda on Saturday.
According to online media reports, Namibia continues to lead the table with 20 points and are unbeaten, followed by Kenya’s 18 points.
Uganda has 11 points followed by Zimbabwe, five and Senegal, one. Tunisia are yet to register any points in this year’s competition.
Namibia will on Saturday, 15h00 play Kenya at the Hage Geingob Rugby Stadium before the Namibia Rugby Union’s 2017 Rugby Premier League Final match between University of Namibia Rugby Club (RC) and Wanderers RC.
In the other Africa Gold Cup match played yesterday, Kenya beat Zimbabwe 41 points to 22 at Hartfield in Bulawayo.
