OTJIWARONGO, 22 MAY (NAMPA) - The Namibian Police Force ( NamPol) in the Otjozondjupa police has appealed to the public to assist in tracing a woman who was reported missing at Otavi last Wednesday.
NamPol spokesperson in the region, Warrant Officer Maureen Mbeha on Monday told Nampa that Martha Nauyele Pataneni went missing from her family residence at Otavi on the morning of 17 May 2017.
“We conducted an intensive search on foot joined by her close family members, but to no avail,” said Mbeha.
Mbeha said Pataneni is dark in completion, medium height, has short natural black hair and was last seen dressed in a red skirt, black top and light green jacket.
Pataneni originates from Angola and speaks Oshiwambo.
Mbeha called on anyone who knows Pataneni’s whereabouts to call any nearest police station, or Pateni herself to contact her relatives in Otavi.
