Woman commits suicide at Omuhama

WINDHOEK, 17 MAY (NAMPA) – A 26-year-old woman committed suicide at Omuhama village in the Kunene Region on Tuesday.
The Namibia Police Force (NamPol)’s crime investigation coordinator in the region, Deputy Commissioner Rudolf Kanyetu told Nampa the woman hanged herself at around 20h30.
She has been identified as Nekomba Karunga.
It is alleged that Karunga was arguing with her younger sister.
A cousin of the two sisters broke up the fight.
They found Karunga’s body hanging from a tree a while later.
Police investigations continue.
