Man stabbed to death at Okahandja

OTJIWARONGO, 07 MAY (NAMPA) - A-19-year old man died at Okahandja after he was allegedly stabbed in the neck in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The deceased has been identified as John Henrico Frederick.
Spokesperson of the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) in the Otjozondjupa Region, Warrant Officer Maureen Mbeha on Sunday told Nampa Frederick was stabbed once with a knife and he died on the spot.
“His relatives have been informed,” said Mbeha.
It is alleged the deceased was walking back home alone from town when he was attacked by a group of armed young men at about 00h45 in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The suspects are aged 18, 20, and 17.
The three suspects were arrested at Okahandja on Saturday and are expected to appear in the Okahandja Magistrate’s Court during this week.
Police investigations continue.
