Geingob State of the Nation Address on Wednesday

WINDHOEK, 11 APR (NAMPA) – President Hage Geingob will Wednesday deliver the State of the Nation Address in Parliament.
A statement issued by the National Assembly (NA) on Tuesday said the event is expected to start at 14h30.
It noted that Robert Mugabe Avenue and Love Street around Parliament Gardens might be closed to the public between 13h30 and 17h00.
As per Article 32 (2) of the Namibian Constitution, the Head of State shall annually and during debate of the Appropriation Bill address Parliament on the state of the nation and on future policies of Government.
Geingob will also report on the policies of the previous year and shall be available to respond to questions.
This will be his third State of the Nation Address.
