Rainfall expected across the country

WINDHOEK, 09 APR (NAMPA) – Moderate to heavy rainfall is expected in most parts of the country - except for the extreme south-west, Zambezi, Ohangwena and Kavango regions – until Wednesday.
A statement issued by chief forecaster at the Namibia Meteorological Service (NMS), Odillo Kgobetsi on Sunday said in the middle of the week, the north-west, central and eastern regions will receive light to moderate showers.
From Thursday, frontal cooling is expected in the south where minimum temperatures will be near 10 degrees Celsius and maximum temperatures will be between 24 and 27 degrees Celsius, reads the statement.
Temperatures are expected to rise gradually in the south as from Saturday.
