Baby dumped in 7de Laan

WINDHOEK, 24 MAR (NAMPA) – The body of a baby boy was found in a backpack near 7de Laan in Windhoek on Friday.
The dead baby was found at around 13h00 by six boys aged between seven and 15, who were walking to Goreangab Dam.
It was left in an orange backpack dumped near the road.
City Police Public Relations Officer Fabian Amukwelele told Nampa on Friday the boys were curious to know what was in the bag.
“When they opened it, they saw the body wrapped in a plastic bag,” he said.
The immediately informed people who they found walking in the road, who in turn informed the police.
