One sedan allegedly drives into another's rear

OSHAKATI, 23 MAR (NAMPA) - Two people were admitted at Ondangwa clinic with minor injuries after the vehicles they were travelling in collided on Thursday.
The incident happened in the Onankali area on the B1 Road between Omuthiya and Ondangwa.
Namibian Police Force Oshikoto Regional Deputy Crime Investigations Coordinator, Chief Inspector Edna Nawa confirmed the accident in a daily crime report on Thursday.
It is alleged the driver of a BMW sedan, was driving from Omuthiya to Ondangwa when he drove into a Volkswagen Polo sedan from behind.
Both vehicles were severely damaged.
The driver of the BMW, a 29-year-old man who was travelling alone, complained of severe body pain.
The driver of the other sedan 31-year-old Katrina Matheus, sustained a serious hip injury. She was also traveling alone.
A case of negligent driving has been opened against the male driver.
His name is known by this agency but could not be revealed because he is yet to be charged and appear before court.
Police investigations continue.
