Another man hit on Windhoek-Okahandja road

WINDHOEK, 22 JAN (NAMPA) – A man died on the Windhoek-Okahandja road after he was hit by a vehicle on Saturday.
The incident that occurred at about 21h00 was reported to the Wanaheda Police Station, said Namibian Police Force Head of Media Relations, Chief Inspector Kauna Shikwambi on Sunday at a media briefing.
The deceased from Mix settlement, Johnny Haukandjo, 26, was crossing the road when a Volkswagen Polo Vivo travelling from Windhoek towards Okahandja hit him.
His next of kin have been informed.
Police investigations continue.
The incident took place where a 31-year-old struggle kid, Thomas Kondjeni, died after being run over by a white Volkswagen Jetta in September 2016.
Another struggle kid, Johannes Itope, 34, was run over on the same road in October 2016.
