The beautiful Ophelia Emvula will represent Namibia at the Miss Tourism World 2013 finals this Saturday, 12th October, in Equatorial Guinea.
The 21-year-old legal secretary, who speaks five languages and enjoys reading, cycling and doing charity work in her spare time, will compete against other contestants from all over the world.
Quoted on the Miss Tourism World website, Emvula says, as a tourism ambassador for Namibia, she is looking forward to promoting the beauty of Namibia’s tourism attractions to the rest of the world while in Equatorial Guinea.
Contestants who are currently in Equatorial Guinea have had the chance to visit historical places around the country, particularly in the new and majestic city of Oyala where they were received by the managers of the companies that carry out their activities in the locality.
In Mongomo, the commission visited the iconic basilica, where the photographed contestants were excited by the interior decoration of the temple.
Meanwhile, Emvula hopes to have a successful modeling career through which she could set up a charity home in Namibia for the less fortunate.
