Man dies of unnatural causes at Iipanda

WINDHOEK, 29 DEC (NAMPA) – A resident at the Iipanda village in the Onyuulaye area of the Oshikoto Region died of as yet unknown causes on Wednesday after visiting cuca shops.
A police report issued on Thursday by Namibian Police Oshikoto Deputy Regional Crime Coordinator, Chief Inspector Edna Nawa identified the deceased as 37-year-old Elia Imbondi from the Okambongo village in the Onyaanya area.
It is reported that the deceased went to nearby cuca shops at Iipanda at around 13h00 on Wednesday and complained of illness when he arrived home at around 17h00.
On his way to the bathroom, Imbondi fainted and died instantly.
He was found with blood from his nose and white foam coming from his mouth.
His next of kin have been informed.
A post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
