Three-year-old dies after Divundu accident

RUNDU, 14 DEC (NAMPA) – A three-year-old boy has died after being involved in a car accident in the Kavango East Region last Sunday.
The accident took place at Kake village in the Divundu Constituency, Namibian Police Force (NamPol) Kavango East Regional Crime Investigations Coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Willie Bampton told Nampa on Wednesday.
Bampton said the occupants of the car were traveling on the gravel road between Divundu and Andara.
Three people, including the three-year-old boy, were seriously injured after the driver lost control of the vehicle and it hit a tree.
All three injured passengers were rushed to the Andara District Hospital.
The boy was later transferred to the Windhoek Central Hospital where he died this past Saturday.
