Angolan woman killed at Ruacana

ONGWEDIVA, 13 DEC (NAMPA) – A 44-year-old Angolan woman died at Otjandjaamwenyo village in the Ruacana Constituency after her lover allegedly stabbed her several times with a knife in the early morning hours of Monday.
Warrant Officer Linekela Shikongo of the Namibian Police Force’s (NamPol) Public Relations Unit in the Omusati Region confirmed this to Nampa in a telephonic interview the same day.
The deceased was identified as Petrina Wokaulu and her next of kin have been informed.
The killing followed an alleged fight between the couple in their homestead, where they lived together in the said village.
Her body was transported to the police morgue at Okahao for a post-mortem, whilst investigations into the matter continue.
By Monday afternoon, a suspect was yet to be arrested.
