Two men die in accident in Kavango East

RUNDU, 22 NOV (NAMPA) – Two men died in the Kavango East Region on Monday when their vehicle overturned near Shamvhura village.
The two deceased have been identified as Martin Shikongo and Juliace Dyakugha, who were passengers in a Honda hatchback, the Namibian Police Force’s (NamPol) Regional Crime Investigations Coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Willie Bampton told Nampa on Monday.
The driver of the car, Paulus Joachim and passenger Sibungo Mutero sustained serious injuries and were taken to the Rundu State Hospital.
Bampton said the car was heading from west to east on the Rundu-Divundu gravel road.
The driver lost control of the vehicle at Shamvhura village, which is located halfway between Rundu and Divundu.
