Teenager boy accused of rape in Tsumeb

ONGWEDIVA, 06 NOV (NAMPA) – The Tsumeb Police are investigating a case of rape that reportedly occurred at the Nomtsoub location on Saturday.
Police reports availed by Oshikoto Region Deputy Commissioner, Naomi Katjiua on Sunday said a 15-year-old boy between 01h00 and 06h00 allegedly raped the 21-year-old woman.
The suspect is a Grade 6 learner at the Kuvukiland Primary School in the same region.
He has not yet been arrested.
Police investigations continue.
In the //Kharas Region, an 18-year-old woman was allegedly raped on Friday at about 22h30 at Tses.
A police statement issued to the media in Windhoek on Sunday said the victim was on her way home when a 17-year-old male allegedly grabbed and forced her into an abandoned house where he allegedly raped her.
He was apprehended by the police and is due to appear in the Keetmanshoop Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
