WINDHOEK, 30 SEP (NAMPA) - The 11th Hats and Roses Ladies’ Breakfast in support of women fighting cancer will take place on Saturday morning in the capital.
The Cancer Association of Namibia (CAN) project aims to help raise funds as well as to create awareness of cancer among Namibians across all walks of life.
CAN Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Rolf Hansen told Nampa earlier this week that all arrangements are in place, and they are ready for the estimated 800 guests.
“One of the many highlights is the pre-recorded message to be delivered to cancer warriors by First Lady Monica Geingos,” he said.
All entertainment will focus on motivation and encouragement under the theme ‘The Woman in the mirror’.
The Hats and Roses Ladies' Breakfast is one of many campaigns to raise funds for the non-profit organisation, which depends solely on donations for their day to day operations.
