WALVIS BAY, 02 SEP (NAMPA) - DTA of Namibia President McHenry Venaani said he will organise a national march to campaign for the reinstatement of about 600 fishermen currently on strike.
Addressing the workers here on Friday, Venaani said he will mobilise all unemployed people in the country to take part in the peaceful march in order to pressurise the companies to take the employees back within 30 days.
These fishermen are on strike since October last year, demanding increases in their basic salaries, medical aid, overtime, and a housing allowance among others.
