Body lies unclaimed at police mortuary

WINDHOEK, 01 SEP (NAMPA) – The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) is requesting anyone who knew Jonas Sikondo Ndumba, who died in an accident on the Okahandja-Windhoek road in July, to come forward.
A media statement issued by NamPol Spokesperson Edwin Kanguatjivi on Thursday said Ndumba died instantly after being run over at about 20h20 on 30 July.
No relatives have come forward to claim the body yet.
The 26-year-old was born in the Kandimbe area of the Kavango East Region.
Anyone with information on the deceased can visit the Windhoek Police Mortuary or contact the nearest police station.
