Hollard donates equipment to school in Rundu

RUNDU, 24 AUG (NAMPA) - Hollard Insurance Namibia has donated equipment and supplies worth N.dollars 50 000 to Likunga Pre-Primary School in Rundu, which assists communities affected by HIV/Aids.
The school was set up to educate and uplift vulnerable children, particularly those orphaned by HIV/Aids.
In a media statement issued on Tuesday, Hollard’s Head of Corporate Communications and Public Relations, Sam Kauapirura said the donation forms part of the company's continued commitment to social development in Namibia.
“Today, more children attend school than ever before in our country thanks to the efforts of passionate Namibians who have embraced the call to serve others. Likunga Pre-Primary School is a case in point,” he said.
The donation to the school included tables and chairs, stationery, a computer and printer, a flat screen television and clothes.
Hollard also donated blankets and clothes worth N.dollars 36 000 to Family Aids Caring Trust (FACT) in Tsumeb.
FACT is a non-governmental organisation that promotes sustainable social development initiatives.
Hollard partnered with the Namibia Network of Aids Service Organisations (NANASO) in its quest to uplift rural communities.
