THE ABOUT 470 STRUGGLE KIDS WHO TUESDAY AFTERNOON MARCHED FROM FARM NDILIMANI, ABOUT 30 KILOMETRES OUTSIDE WINDHOEK TO THE SWAPO PARTY HEADQUARTERS IN KATUTURA, WERE BY 18H30 ON THEIR WAY BACK TO THE FARM AFTER LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES FIRED ABOUT FOUR WARNING SHOTS AND CONSULTED THE GROUP REPRESENTATIVE TO CALM THE DISGRUNTLED CROWD. THE STRUGGLE KIDS HAD BLOCKED ENTRY TO THE PARTY OFFICE AND HELD STAFF MEMBERS HOSTAGE IN PROTEST TO THEIR EVICTION FROM THE FARM AND AS ANOTHER EXPRESSION OF THEIR DEMAND FOR JOBS FROM GOVERNMENT. THEY ARE EXPECTED TO HAVE LEFT THE FARM THAT BELONGS TO A SUBSIDIARY OF THE RULING PARTY BY WEDNESDAY NOON.
