President Geingob leaves for Lusaka

WINDHOEK, 29 JUL (NAMPA) - President Hage Geingob left for Lusaka, Zambia on Friday afternoon for an official two-day visit on the invitation of his Zambian counterpart Edgar Lungu.
Apart from official talks, Geingob is expected to officiate at the 90th Zambia Agricultural and Commercial Show which is this year being held under the theme 'Managing environment for growth.’
Vice-President Nickey Iyambo, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah, and Minister of Presidential Affairs Frans Kapofi were at the Eros Airport to see him off.
The president’s delegation that went in advance include Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Peya Mushelenga; Works and Transport Minister Alpheus !Naruseb; Mines and Energy Minister Obeth Kandjoze; Agriculture, Water and Forestry John Mutorwa; and Industrialisation, Trade and Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Development Immanuel Ngatjizeko.
The presidential delegation is expected to return home on Saturday afternoon.
