WINDHOEK, 24 JUL (NAMPA) – A foetus was discovered at the Matongo sewer pump station in Windhoek’s Wanaheda area by a municipal employee on Saturday.
Constable Fabian Amukwelele of the City Police’s Community Policing and Public Relations division told Nampa on Sunday the male foetus was discovered at 10h25 by a municipal employee who works at the station and alerted the police.
Amukwelele urged women with unwanted pregnancies and babies to seek counselling or to take unwanted babies to the nearest local police station or health facility instead of dumping the babies.
