Windhoek Draught Welwitschias lose to Bulls in Currie Cup

WINDHOEK, 17 JUL (NAMPA) - The Windhoek Draught Welwitschias on Friday lost their 13th game in a row of the 2016 Currie Cup against Vodacom Blue Bulls in Pretoria, South Africa.
The match ended 12-95.
The Namibian team is still placed last of 15 teams on the log with one point, while the victory kept the Bulls on position seven with 38 points.
On Friday evening, the Welwitschias only managed to run in two tries through Johan Wohler and Riaan van Zyl, with Shaun Kaizemi converting once from the spot.
The Windhoek Draught WelwitschiasÂ’ next and last game of the competition will be against the DHL Western Province on 23 July at the Hage Geingob Stadium in Windhoek.
The Namibian team is made up of only local-based players for the 2016 edition of the South African provincial tournament.
