'The Executioner' takes aim at first international title

WINDHOEK, 15 JUL (NAMPA) - Namibian middleweight champion, Walter 'The Executioner' Kautondokwa will step into the ring during the ‘No Mercy Part Five’ boxing bonanza on 06 August 2016 at the Windhoek Country Club.
He will fight either Walter Dlamini or Welcome Ntshingila, both from South Africa.
The boxers will fight for the vacant World Boxing Organisation (WBO) Africa Middleweight title.
It will be Kautondokwa’s first international fight.
He boasts an impressive record of 11 fights, 11 wins with 10 knockouts.
A media statement issued by the Mobile Telecommunications Limited (MTC) Nestor Sunshine Boxing Academy said they have groomed Kautondokwa for many years and they believe he is now ready to step up for 'bigger things'.
“The fight will get him into the WBO Middleweight world ratings. I am well aware that this will be a big test for him, but I am also confident that he has gained the necessary confidence, skill and ability to operate at this level,” Nestor Tobias, chairperson of the academy, said in the statement.
Paulus 'The Hitman' Moses will headline the boxing bonanza when he takes on Thompson Mokwena from South Africa.
General tickets are on sale for N.dollars 300, while VIP tables seating 10 people sell for N.dollars 10 000.
