Geingob welcomes Mukherjee to Namibia

WINDHOEK, 16 JUN (NAMPA) - President Hage Geingob on Thursday welcomed Indian President Pranab Mukherjee to Namibia.
Mukherjee arrived in Namibia on Wednesday afternoon with a 76-member delegation for a three-day State visit.
They were welcomed at State House in the capital with a 21-gun salute and singing of both countries national anthems.
The visitors were entertained by colourful performances of different Namibian cultural groups.
Vice-President Nickey Iyambo; Prime Minister Saraa Kuugongelwa-Amadhila; Minister of International Relations and Cooperation Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah; Swapo Secretary-General Nangolo Mbumba; and other ministers were present at the welcoming ceremony.
