Confirming the accident to Nampa on Monday, Namibian Police Force (NamPol) Deputy Commissioner Naomi Katjiua said the accident occurred at about 15h10 on the Onyati-Onghumbula gravel road.

The driver, who sustained no injury, is identified as 35-year-old Tangeni Omwene Hekandjo from Oluundje village, also in the Onghumbula area.
According to Katjiua, there were six passengers in the vehicle of which five received medical treatment at Okankolo Health Centre for slight injuries.
“Post-mortem will be conducted to determine the real cause of the death of the deceased,” said Katjiua.
