Man stabbed to death in Eveline Street

WINDHOEK, 15 SEP (NAMPA) – A 22-year-old man was stabbed to death in Windhoek’s Katutura residential area at around midnight on Saturday.
Speaking during the weekly crime briefing in the capital on Sunday, Namibian Police Force (NamPol) spokesperson, Chief Inspector Kauna Shikwambi said Simeon Uugwanga was stabbed with a knife during an argument with the suspect in the matter at a bar in Eveline Street.
Uugwanga was rushed to the Katutura State Hospital but died upon his arrival there.
His next of kin have been informed.
No arrests have been made in connection with the matter yet, and police investigations continue.
In an unrelated case, also in Windhoek, the 24-year-old Lionel Liswaniso was found dead on his bed on Saturday at around 15h00 in the Auasblick residential area.
Shikwambi said the police are still attempting to determine his cause of death.
