WINDHOEK, 06 APR (NAMPA) – The DTA of Namibia's “Real State of the Nation Address” (Real-Sona) is underway here.
It will provide an assessment of Namibia’s socio-economic standing and what is needed to move the country forward.
“What we are doing is modernising the political discourse in the country for democracy to become a political discourse in the country,” said DTA President McHenry Venaani in his keynote address.
This follows hot on the heels of President Hage Geingob’s Sona in Parliament on Tuesday, when he gave an account of the progress made by Government since his last Sona on 21 April 2015, as well as outlined and launched the Harambee Prosperity Plan.
The DTA leadership, United Democratic Front (UDF) vice-president, Dudu Murorua and members of the public are attending the DTA’s “Real Sona”.
