The President of Angola, José Eduardo dos Santos, the dismissal by decree of the following:

Rosa Maria Martins da Cruz e Silva, the post of Minister of Culture;

Rosa Escórcio Pacavira de Matos, from the post of Minister of Commerce;

José Vieira Dias Van-Dunem, the office of the Minister of Health;

José António Maria da Conceição e Silva, the post of Minister of Urbanisation and Housing;

Henrique André Júnior, from the post of Governor of Kwanza Norte Province;

Paulino Domingos Baptista, the office of Secretary of State for Hospitality;

Luis Gomes Sambo, the office of Secretary of State for Health;

Zacarias Sambeny, the office of Secretary of State for Fisheries for Aquaculture.

Were also exonerated by presidential decree, Ngiila Liberte Pires da Conceição Carvalho, the Vice-Governor of Luanda for Technical Services and Infrastructures and Joaquim Dumba Malichi, the Deputy Governor of charge of Kuando Kubango province for Technical Services and Infrastructures.

On the other hand, he was exonerated on request José Pedro de Morais, the position of Governor of the National Bank of Angola.

 

However, the President appointed under the Constitution of the Republic of Angola, the following entities:

Paulino Domingos Baptista, to the post of Minister of Hotels and Tourism;

Luis Gomes Sambo to the post of Minister of Health;

Faithful Domingos Constantino, to the post of Minister of Commerce;

White Manuel da Costa Neto of the Holy Spirit, to the post of Minister of Urbanisation and Housing;

Carolina Cerqueira, to the post of Minister of Culture;

José Maria Ferraz dos Santos, to the post of Governor of Kwanza Norte Province;

Valter Filipe Duarte da Silva, to the post of Governor of the National Bank of Angola.

 

President Jose Eduardo dos Santos has also appointed:

José Manuel Cerqueira, to the post of Deputy Governor of Luanda for Economic Sector;

Rui Celso Dias Fernandes da Silva, to the post of Deputy Governor of Luanda Province to Community Services;

Joaquim Malichi Dumba, to the post of Deputy Governor of Luanda for Technical and Infrastructure Services.

Unconfirmed reports also say the dismissal of the central bank chief was linked to the Kwanza exchange deal with Namibia.
