Dr Molapo for MTC leadership conference

MTC have roped in the President of the I CAN Leadership Institute in Africa,  Dr. David Molapo as one of the speakers at their forthcoming leadership conference which also be graced by Dr T.D Jakes.

 

Dr. Molapo will join a list of prestigious local and international speakers at MTC’s first Leadership Conference. The Conference will take place on the 12th and 13th April 2016, at Safari Hotel.

 

Dr. Molapo’s Profile:

Dr. David Molapo is the Founder / President of I CAN Leadership Institute Africa (ICLIA) and he is Logos University Regional Vice President Africa., an international Christian University based in Jacksonville, Florida United States of America.

He is a foremost leadership consultant, educator and world-renowned inspirational speaker. Using a fine combination of humour, an incredible stage presence, and his personal life experiences, Dr. Molapo has a unique ability to mesmerize any audience with his message of hope.

Through his public appearances in the media, Dr. Molapo effectively motivates, inspires, and influences more than 5 million people in Africa each year, providing them with the confidence and tools to change their lives, as well as those of the people around them.

Aged 13, Dr. Molapo was imprisoned for political activities in his native South Africa. It was during his detention that he had an encounter with the LORD and thus started his journey towards his life changing process life that led him to be the successful businessperson, leader, husband, and father that he is today.

In August 1994, Dr. Molapo was a finalist for the Junior Chamber International Award of Ten Outstanding Young People of the World. As of 1995 and until to date he has appeared in the Who’s Who in South Africa – a publication that profiles business executives, policy makers, influencers, academia, politico and deal breakers and the cream of the crop of Africa’s second largest economy South Africa.

In July l999, he was awarded the prestigious PMR Silver Arrow Award as Best in Motivational, Incentive, and Business Consulting. In addition to being one of the most sought after motivational speakers, David holds two of South Africa’s most prestigious awards: The Young Achiever of the Year—South Africa and the Four Outstanding South Africans Award.

His reach in the corporate world, includes strategic posting such the Chairman of Transformation for South African Airways, whilst he also held directorships in companies such as Lexmark International, Clientelle Life, Katanga Properties, Excellerate Holdings, Imperial Logistics and Dimension Data Holdings.

He coaches, provide mentorship and leadership on many subjects, including Leading Effectively in Difficult Times, Quality Management, Communication, Work Life Balance, Team Building, Emotional Intelligence and Accepting Change. Dr Molapo is widely known overseas for his presentation on “Leadership Lessons From Nelson Mandela”. He holds Associate Degree in Mathematics and Science followed by a B.Sc. in Education, a Master's Degree in Education and a Doctorate in Religious Education.
