NDF soldier dies in Avbob office: NamPol

WINDHOEK, 14 FEB (NAMPA) - A Namibian Defence Force (NDF) soldier collapsed and died while he was busy collecting the body of another soldier at the Avbob funeral service provider in Soweto here on Saturday.
Spokesperson of the Namibian Police Force (NamPol), Deputy Commissioner Edwin Kanguatjivi told a media conference here on Sunday afternoon the now deceased NDF warrant officer was collecting the remains of a retired NDF colleague.
The soldier suddenly collapsed and was declared dead at the scene by the City of Windhoek's ambulance personnel.
It is alleged the deceased warrant officer had a history of high blood pressure, said Kanguatjivi.
