Chinese picture exhibition tells the tale of two continent's peo

WINDHOEK, 05 SEP (NAMPA) - The Chinese Embassy in Windhoek is presenting a photo exhibition on the ground floor of the Gustav Voigts shopping centre in the capital.
The aim is to create awareness about the relations between Africa and China by means of pictures of Africans living there.
“Through this exhibition, Namibian people will know more about African people staying and living in China. They are very happy, and when they return?to Africa after living and working there, they come home with good results .' WHAT RESULTS?????
Ambassador Xin Shunkang said during the official opening ceremony. It is through the media he added that more Namibians are now aware of what is happening in China, while at the same time commended Namibia's judiciary system. The countries political stability and conducive business environment is some of the reasons why Chinese business people opt to open their business in Namibia, the ambassador added, referring to Swakop Uranium whose head office is in Windhoek with their mining operations taking place at Husab in the Erongo region. Since the exhibition is to portrait the relations between the two continents, several pictures with prominent Namibian politicians and sports men and women are also on display. Swakop Uranium is the main sponsor of the exhibition that ends on Friday.
