China's Foreign Affairs Minister in Namibia

WINDHOEK, 04 FEB (NAMPA) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah will on Friday have bi-lateral consultations with Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wang Yi.
Yi will also meet President Hage Geingob.
The visit follows after the recently concluded Forum for China Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) meeting held in Johannesburg, South Africa in December 2015.
The meeting focused on the China-Africa industrialisation programme, infrastructure expansion, financial services, green development cooperation, trade, investment facilitation, poverty reduction cooperation, public welfare and public health, people-to-people exchanges, and peace and security programmes.
The visit will provide Namibia and China an opportunity to take stock of progress in wide ranging areas of cooperation.
