The National Commission on Research, Science and Technology (NCRST) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Namibia Students Financial Assistance Fund (NSFAF).
According to a press release by NCRST, the partnership will enable both organisations to co-fund Students’ Post Graduate Education in the areas of Research, Science, Technology and Innovation as part of NCRST’s National Programme (NPRSTI).
The co-funding will be implemented in line with NSFAF’s funding and award criteria and the timeframes required by the applicable Institution of Higher Learning. This will happen, “Through jointly issuing calls for application for Postgraduate scholarship and research grants."
“It is our desire that we will see more students benefiting from this partnership, as well as the Namibian nation as a whole”, said Dr Eino Mvula, CEO of the NCRST.
