Suspect at large after shooting young woman

RUNDU, 03 SEP (NAMPA) - The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) at Rundu are looking for a suspect who allegedly shot and killed a 19-year-old woman here in the early morning hours of Saturday.
The incident occurred at around 04h00 near the Atlantic Fish supermarket while the deceased was walking home on her own, apparently from a local pub.
According to a NamPol report issued to Nampa on Monday, the deceased was shot in the chest and died on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Ezekiel Limbondo, a resident of the Kehemu informal settlement on the outskirts of Rundu.
Her next of kin have been informed.
Details surrounding the shooting incident remain sketchy at this stage, as the suspect fled the scene after allegedly shooting Limbondo.
