WINDHOEK, 26 JAN (NAMPA) - Ministers and their deputies have been given until the end of January 2016 to submit their performance reports.
The Office of the Prime Minister (OPM) informed the various public office bearers in a letter issued last week and in Nampa’s possession on Tuesday to submit their performance reports for the third quarter of the 2015/16 financial year that ended 31 December 2015.
As part of their performance agreements, the public office bearers are required to submit quarterly performance reports.
The letter dated 20 January 2016 states “the purpose of the review is to evaluate the progress towards achieving set targets, identify any major variances and take remedial action while the financial year is still in progress”.
It is also expected that the process of developing annual plans and performance agreements for the 2016/17 financial year should be concluded before the end of the last quarter of the 2015/2016 financial year.
The performance agreements are signed and run for a duration of 12 months coinciding with the financial year ending on 31 March every year.
