Two men shot at Koko Lounge by security guard

WINDHOEK, 17 JAN (NAMPA) - Two men were shot and wounded by a security guard at the Koko Lounge in Ongwediva on Sunday.
The incident happened at about 04h30.
Namibian Police Force (NamPol) Inspector Slogan Mathues said on Sunday the two victims - Risto Shiyagaya, 30, and Leopold Collin Cylir, age unknown - were both shot in the left leg.
They were allegedly shot when they did not want to adhere to the guard’s request not to take glasses off the premises.
The security guard from Bertha Security Services was arrested and is expected to appear in the Oshakati Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
The victims were admitted at the Oshakati State Hospital.
In a separate incident, a 33-year-old man was stabbed with a sharp object by an Angolan national on Friday at Oshikango and died later at the Engela State Hospital.
The incident occurred at about 22h45.
The victim was identified as Paulus Ndeiluka, a Namibian national.
It is alleged that the suspect crossed the border into Angola.
The next of kin were already informed, and Police investigations into the matter continue.
