South African man dies while driving

WINDHOEK, 17 JAN (NAMPA) - A 25-year-old woman was allegedly raped by a man in Aroab village in the //Karas Region on Saturday.
The 36-year-old suspect is expected to appear in the Keetmanshoop Magistrate's Court on Monday.
He was arrested by the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) over the weekend, said Inspector Slogan Matheus from the Namibian Police's Public Relations Division on Sunday.
Matheus said the victim was sleeping in her bedroom at Aroab when the suspect allegedly climbed through her bedroom window and raped her.
In a separate incident in the same region, a South African man died on the Noordoewer road while driving on Friday. The deceased was identified as 59-year-old Raymond Owen Bent from Cape Town. It is suspected that he suffered a heart attack.
Bent was driving with his family and friends when he suddenly leaned forward and pulled the vehicle off the road. He then passed away, and was declared dead on the scene by a medical doctor.
Police investigations continue.
